A short distant from the city outskirt is Batu Caves – a massive limestone outcrop with its interior dominated by a sacred Hindu shrine lined with different deities, located deep inside the high caverns which take 272 steps to reach. Outside the caves, marvel at the 43 metres high golden statue of Lord Murugan. Tour also include a visit to a traditional Malaysian Batik Centre to see how Batik is printed or hand-drawn using wax and dye, and Royal Selangor Pewter Visitor Centre to witness the making of pewterware – Malaysian’s most distinctive craft.

TripAdvisor's Customer Reviews
I had seen a number of reviews that suggested this tour wasn't worth it because it was little more than a glorified taxi ride ... the Caves being self guided and the Pewter factory having its own (fantastic) tour. That might be slightly try but for the convenience, the added commentary and happy to answer any question David leading the tour ... it was excellent. The bus was comfortable, air condition and right on time. I would highly recommend seeing the sights with these guys.
Our tour guide was amazing! We loved this tour
Well organised tour pick up on time .Good guide & driver, Saravanan , who was knowledgeable , friendly and effecient.
Drove us well, and gave proper guidance and information. Brought us back to town in time
Professional and very well organised. The driver Tiru was pretty good. He customised the trip as per my requirements and was very professional.
Dennis was a fantastic guide and showed us the best places to visit and try great food.
Your bus picked me up at my hotel despite last minute booking, the guide was friendly and helpful and bus air conditioned. When we made it to Batu caves we were given time to explore on our own.
Great tour, picked up from our hotel taken to the caves and you have plenty of time to wonder yourself, would be nice to have a guide inside to explain a few things but I don’t think that’s what they do here. But still enjoyed it all the same. We visited a Nice textile shop afterwards too.
A beautiful and historic destination. Keep an eye on your belongings with the monkeys around. The monkeys are seemingly far more aware and intelligent than many of the people who visit. I knew Charles Darwin was right.
Fabulous tour, punctual pick up, Caves are well worth seeing if in KL and makes a great half day out away from the city. Lots of steps to climb and can get very hot, we went late afternoon when it was more pleasant. Really pleased we also had the chance to visit the Royal Selangor pewter factory on the way to the Caves which was absolutely amazing
Sights were amazing and the guide and driver were great.
